Why this training?
Do you dread public speaking? Or are you comfortable in front of a group, but your message never truly lands? You're not alone. Many people who normally love the spotlight freeze when something is at stake. Strange, isn't it?
In the 'Life's a Pitch' training, we explore your unique presentation style together. What do you want to convey? How does your audience truly see you? What are the laws of presentation, and is your audience looking for that standard approach? We strongly believe that an effective presentation must be personal. We guide you to come across as the best version of yourself within 30 seconds.
You will learn:
To write a captivating script
To deliver a pitch that grabs attention
To give a TED-worthy presentation
To speak with confidence and relaxation in Dutch or English
To manage nervousness before and during your presentation
We aim to give you an experience you will never forget. The nerves might not completely disappear. But some tension makes life interesting, especially when a lot is at stake.
Because life’s a Pitch.
Everything at a glance
The training consists of 2 half-day (4 hours) sessions for your entire team. Between sessions, you'll receive extensive personal feedback online.
The first session is at your office, and the second is in a theater near you.
Actor, singer, and comedian Marcel Harteveld and program manager Romeo Vreeken already enjoyed their lives, but giving this training makes them truly happy.
Their mission is simple: to let you experience how fun presenting is and how eagerly people want to hear your story.
Our pitch. Convincing?
Three is the magic number.
Have you ever noticed that a good presentation often consists of three points? That's no coincidence. In the book Talk Like TED, you'll read that information presented in threes is clearer, more memorable, and more persuasive. Steve Jobs, for example, was a master at applying this rule, making his presentations engaging and unforgettable. These are our three points to make a lasting impression.
1.
Write your script
Every second counts. That's why we help you write a script to present yourself in 30 seconds.
2.
Learn the skills
How do you stay relaxed and keep in contact with the room? Everything about body language and how you engage your audience.
3.
Take the stage
And then onto the floor. In a safe environment, we serve each other candid criticism and learn together.
